Golf Course Emergencies and Dangerous Weather:
You should be aware of Blind Brook Club’s procedures and policies in the event of lightning or medical emergency. It is recommended that at least one member of each group carry a cell phone in the event of emergency.

The Blind Brook Club has a lightning monitoring system that detects dangerous storms in the area. The signal for stopping play is a high-pitched siren. When you hear the siren, you must leave the course immediately. The signal for resuming is three brief high-pitched sounds from the siren.

Safety is an important issue in every area of the club, but the golf course is especially vulnerable to extreme weather conditions. Be prepared!
